Dances With Wolves, 1990

What is the name of the film? The scene where Dunbar is named by the Sioux "Dances With Wolves" is key. It is toward the end of the film. He is running in the field with his canine friend. He falls, there is a reminder of the seriousness of things. The wolf an analogy to the potential for peace and not the horrible war when its meeting the Indians. The Indians are very different and from other beliefs and ways of making sense. Could be at the root of Dunbar's interest in Indian culture.

The film Dances With Wolves begs for description as to significance to describe the D-V-D the prophetic analysis first. I have here in past months. I will repeat about that. If you recall, the V scene, would be the bride, the elder meets Dunbar. Dumb Bear?, recall, "No, with an N", irony. Does Kicking Bird not know that English, American names are not the same as would describe, for instance "Stands With A Fist"? Du N. Consider Kicking Bird.

Of course there's the glory scene to recall, when he makes a statement and ultimately all cheer. To retain his foot.

The ending is when the two ride off together reunited with others on horseback for happy ending. A story during times of Revolutionary War. Recall the scene from the mountain "Wind In His Hair" is friend, Dances With Wolves, he's yelling.

And the wolf howls at the moon from the mountain top. To consider -

a film that seems not to have the biggest budget but maybe the most powerful themes. 1990..

Dances With Wolves

Pay careful attention to the last fifth of the movie. Dunbar is ultimately a deserter, that the music seems to point to powerful themes favoring Indians. But what about the peacemaker?, for what war ever was. And this is the 1700s. To keep in mind Cold War.

The elder says to Dunbar, that there is no longer the soldier they seek only a Sioux named Dances With Wolves. To be named by the Sioux..

Its what has happened to faith leaders. Kicking Bird was the faith leader. He the one who steps forward first. Potentially to make peace. The love affair is a testimony to the peacemaker is a good.

To be called by South America. Where human civilization really began.

So here we are "on the beach", as it would be in Australia.

BACK

Surely a film to watch a few times. I'm watching it again today that I've kept the story in mind over the decades. Their love a testimony to the goodness in the peacemaker. The importance when you recall war's roots and how we've considered COLD WAR treaties during the past century. To keep in mind the importance of the peacemaker. Dunbar is different than some of the other characters in the end of the story presented, truly the peacemaker.

As is seen with the wolf. Dunbar recognized by the wolf who isn't dangerous around John Dunbar. But the wolf remains wild, an undercurrent theme, portrayed here and there. To not forget the wolf is a wild creature. But it may show great loyalty. Loyalty, and its importance, to recall Dunbar had been granted a boon. Simple not complex, the message of the peacemaker. Dunbar a great peacemaker, and so called, stood his ground. And he did make peace with the Indians of the plain. But that fact seemed to be ignored by those who'd come after him, now a deserter. That that would be ignored, Dances With Wolves, film of 1990, not to forget the importance of the role of the peacemaker. Some are so called. Not with the budget allowance that might be. They did hire Kevin Costner who is a well paid and fine actor worthy of the part. And I think he rides a horse as well. "Dances With Wolves", as John Dunbar is finally named by an elder of the Sioux Indians. Why is it not rated G? It has a complexity analysis children won't get. Does the plot make sense also to someone young ? Then its good film. IMPORTANT!! In WAR, the FAITH LEADERS meet for POTENTIAL PEACE. Some are so called. "Deserter"?, .. no, the peacemaker. Past half century, so was the importance of COLD WAR treaties.

THE IDEA, John Dunbar, is he a deserter or you see, the peacemaker? Over the decades I've had this film in mind. It took time to come to conclusion. The romance a testimony to howso John Dunbar. "Stands With A Fist", an important actress.

The most important of the films, Dances With Wolves. PG?, its disturbing when the American soldiers come after him as he is a deserter. Yes, thos were the American soldiers. I don't think they are loyalist, and to bad for who might be understood as important?, Dunbar at that time. But they are saying RED ideas there, and a lack of understanding as such might have been at that time, to point to RED, ideals that are around, Unitarian, etc. See if you can recognize that by their manner in the story. Characteristic they are of military of the past. Consider how there'd be the German soldiers or standing for the Queen. A basic message is the importance of the peacemaker we are reminded. And understand the idea to Dunbar realized.

MORE on Dances With Wolves, 1990. Its JUNE 30. I rewatched the scenes where he fights the American soldiers who have come to find out about him. They let him know they will return him to location and he will then be hung as a traitor. He refuses to surrender and their lead soldier seems to understand its about the peace and that's important for a moment, but there are orders to follow.

Dunbar remains true to character that he fought. Maybe that's an important idea. ~
